Paintings

All paintings have been painted with acrylic paints on canvas, board or wooden panels. Artwork should be hung out of direct sunlight to avoid fading over time. This also applies to any wooden or painted frame that your work may come with. Our paintings are framed without glass. To clean any dust please wipe gently with a lint-free cloth. Do not use water or any chemical or household cleaners to clean your artwork.

Collage

Collages have been created with acrylic paints on paper or canvas boards. All artwork should be hung out of direct sunlight to avoid fading over time. This also applies to any wooden or painted frame that your work may have. Collages are supplied unframed unless otherwise stated. We recommend using a professional framer to frame any original artwork. Framing under glass will preserve the life of your collage but it is not essential. To clean any dust please wipe gently with a lint-free cloth. Do not use water or any chemical or household cleaners to clean your artwork.

Textiles

Our textile pieces are made from a mix of fibres so care must be taken to hang and look after your artwork. On delivery, unpack your textile piece and lay flat. Creases can be ironed out using a pressing cloth (a clean piece of cotton or a thin teatowel) between the textile and the iron. Please iron on a medium setting without steam.

We do not recommend washing your textile piece. Any accidental marks should be removed gently with a soft cloth, warm water and a gentle cleaner like dishsoap.

All artwork should be hung out of direct sunlight to prevent fading. Some fabrics will gradually fade over time so please be aware of this. Textile pieces are fluid and will always show some signs of movement when they are hung - this is completely natural and part of the appeal of the piece. If you wish to create a little more weight when hanging your piece there is a channel at the bottom hem where a simple length of curtain weights can be added.
